The purpose of this course is to present the practical aspects of asbestos air monitoring. Both the occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) include air monitoring as an integral part of their respective asbestos regulations. Colorado requires individuals conducting certain air sampling tasks to be certified as Air Monitoring Specialist. (AMS)
