A “Renovation, Repair, and Painting” (RRP) course, often referring to the EPA-mandated training, focuses on lead-safe work practices for renovating pre-1978 properties. It covers health effects of lead, regulatory compliance, lead-safe work techniques like containment and cleaning, and required documentation and recordkeeping. The course includes classroom training, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises to ensure renovators, remodelers, and painters can minimize lead dust and contamination
