This course provides initial training for maintenance workers involved in general maintenance and asbestos material repair tasks. The course agenda includes: Federal and state regulations, proper asbestos related work practices, respirator use, care and fit testing, protective clothing, hands-on training and proper documentation procedures.

This course is 16-hours and is approved by the state of Colorado and meets all the requirements of the EPA and AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act).

This course is paid for by the employers.

Class is subject to cancellation if we do not receive at least 4 registrations, 24-48 hours prior to class date.
